Sometimes during a session – along with emotions – memories may come up. Sometimes these can be painful or traumatic memories. If this happens, and it is too much for your conscious mind to to deal with, we then switch gears to very light calming bodywork. We integrate your stuck energy bit by bit – at the rate that you are comfortable with. We do it as easily and smoothly as we can. For people who have had a lot of trauma in their lives, this approach is crucial. You need a safe space and process in which to heal. It is important to have a gentle and compassionate process. The body may be ready for deep healing but we must go at the pace and depth with which the mind is able to deal with.
